No security! Almost three years here. The only reason is because I study at uni near and I needed to threat quitting always short of stuff if they would put me to work on my uni days. There is 0 support from higher management. Always asking to work more hours, company wants you to come to employees meetings not paid working alone in stressful situations, No people, again. Basically before leaving, I filled a complain to HR and thinking about it a few times.

I enjoyed learning how to make drinks and coffees at Caffe Nero, the training isn't terrible either. If you fit in then you'd probably enjoy it but it is hard to fit in with the "culture" they base the company around. They expect you to go in for team meetings monthly, even if it is one of your days off surely it doesn't even count as a day off if you have to go in for this meeting?

The pay is bare minimum, and there's no clock in systems so if you stay 15 minutes - 30 minutes extra you won't get paid. Pros free drinks coffee only , dicount food, beanbox. I worked at neros for 4 years. They have there ups and downs but they are such a supportive and cultured business. They look after their staff and it very much feels like a family.

Nero will forever have a place in my heart! It is really depends on where you are. I was working in two different Store. In my first one I was working around 4 years. It was really hard in the begining, as you have to learn how to do all the drinks and get the stress from the customers.

However they provide training for everything you really have to have a good, can do attitude and a you should be a fast learner. It is ususally busy and it is not always easy but it is enjoyable. I was working in a lovely team, my manager was always supportive and nice. You might have to stay longer if someone call sick, but the management always try to manage it without force.

On my second Store it wasn't that good. There the manager wasn't supportive, She just cared about the business and nothing about the people. So it is really depends on the Store. Overal, they pay enough to leave, however the did cut the contratcted hours to 25, wich is not really enough. The money depends on the place too. Drinks Menu Teas, iced drinks, hot chocolate. The downside is that the company is very demanding and often the demand more than what you can do with the means they provide you with.

Not bad. Like all jobs in food service, it takes a toll on your body. I did like stretching my mind having to memorize two orders at a time. I liked it a little better that another popular coffee place I worked at. No one makes you wear a timer around your neck.
