Writing books is a really great way to earn money in the game, but for some reason once you publish the book it disappears from your inventory. A lot of players including myself have realized that The Sims 4 is no longer fun once you have too much money in your game. A big problem with this is that the salaries are very high in the game and make you earn too much income too quickly. This awesome more traits mod will add so many new traits for your sims like moody, obsessive, envious and so much more.
It just feels nice to have different traits for your sims to make them feel more interesting and different from one another. As a child of divorced, it really bugs me that there is no effect on children long term when their parents break up. This is a really hard experience for children in the real world, so it should be a harder experience in The Sims 4. Whenever your sims are getting divorced their children both kids and teens will stop doing whatever they are doing and react to the situation and get a sad moodlet for a while, which feels more appropriate.
Have you ever wanted to play The Sims 4 as a multiplayer game with your friends? This mod will remove that annoying feature of the family tree and make sure that your sims relatives will appear in their genealogy forever. Moving sims out when they are getting older is a weird process in The Sims 4. This packing crates mod is incredible because it allows you to put large items into a crate that will go into your sims inventory.
Once at the new home you can just drag the crate out from your inventory and then get the items out! But, modders can! This phone replacement mod will replace all of the sims phones in your game with amore realistic iPhone 11 that a lot of people in your real life probably carry around in their pockets each day. There are a lot of ways to add photos to your sims home these days, but honestly, sometimes I just want a photo that has no frame and looks a little less organized and professional.
This photo mod is going to allow you to have images that you can place on your sims walls without having frames, choosing from push pins or tape to have them hung up which is great for younger bedrooms and cute walls! We are constantly looking for more interactions and deeper game play and sometimes you just want your sims to be nice to each other and appreciate the things the other can do.
This praise and admiration mod is awesome and adds a bunch of new interactions for praising, admiration and compliments. It may not seem like much, but honestly, having a parent sim be able to praise and compliment their children feels really wonderful. I also use this when dating and have my sims admire and praise their future partners which just feels nice.
Babies may be objects still in The Sims 4, but honestly, why not have more? The game currently allows your sims to have a single baby, twins or triplets and for most players triplets is more than enough. However, there are very elite simmers who can handle the life with 4, 5 or even 6 babies all at once. This mod is going to allow you to have quadruplets, quintuplets and even with a new update sextuplets. Any time that you go ahead and live in a giant house in The Sims 4 you are going to be dealing with ridiculous bills, this seems to be a bit better now since the bills update in However, there are still instances when it is absolutely out of hand.
This mod really changes up the young adult and adult life spans to make them make much more sense. A sim can be caught cheating by their partner and just go and grab a glass of water and be completely okay two minutes later. This realistic reactions mod is great because it will add real life emotional reactions when these things happen. A sim who gets caught cheating will feel embarrassed, that sims kid will feel sad and even the other party involved in the cheating will feel embarrassed.
This mod is created by Sacrificial mods, the creator of usually less romantic mods like Extreme Violence or Armageddon. Using the slow dance mod is really beautiful and can connect your sims in a whole new way, especially if used at their wedding. Unfortunately, at the time of writing this list there are still no sleepovers in the game which is a real bummer. This sleepover mod will allow for your child sims to invite their friends over and have a wonderful sleepover and spend extra time with their besties, instead of their friends going home in the early evening.
This SNBank mod is awesome because it gives you all of the functionality of a bank, allowing you to make deposits and withdrawals, send money to other sims and so much more. There is even a functional bank venue for you to explore!
Strangerville is one of those packs that was extremely fun to play with the first time but really lacks a replay level that most players need. Are they not all wet? Something that has always bothered me in The Sims is that there has never been a nursing career branch where being a nurse was the top of the career, it was always a middle situation in a medical career.
This ultimate nursing career mod is great because it adds a set of 3 branches for you to choose in the nursing profession and your sim will be so happy with their career. You can become a manager, a practitioner or an educator which are all awesome! The application process that we got with The Sims 4: Discover University is, well, less than exciting or difficult. All you need to do is click on a mailbox or computer and pay 75 simoleons, no biggie. The university application overhaul mod is going to make it so that your sims has to jump through a few more hoops before they will be accepted.
This will include things like an essay, an admissions interview, letters of recommendations and more which makes the process much more realistic. A lot of people in the real world have two or more jobs at a time and have to figure out how to juggle that along with their families and social lives. This unlimited jobs mod is going to remove the block on multiple professions for your sim and let you really stress them out with more than one job at a time. Most people would have some type of medicine in their home, probably in a medicine cabinet.
The working medicine cabinets mod is amazing because it lets you have a medicine cabinet somewhere in your home probably a bathroom that you can just go to and grab medicine, you do still have to pay for it. This experience feels much more realistic compared to it being ordered online and just showing up in your inventory.
These 55 mods have all been in my game at some point and have all brought me immense amounts of joy in the game. I absolutely love adding sims 4 mods because the game can get stale if you playa every single day for years and years. The kichen stuff pack created by FelixandreSims and Harrie is an amazing collaboration stuff pack made to beautify any kitchen in the game. This stuff pack includes some gorgeous kitchen and dining items including a new stove, sink, individual glasses, and a gorgeous resin dining table that is super popular right now.
The minimalist bedroom stuff pack created by Illogical Sims is one of the first cc stuff packs I ever encountered and really started my love for stuff packs instead of individual items. This stuff pack features 25 objects that match well with in-game wood swatches to mix well with current furniture in the game and really works nicely with a lot of styles. Some of my favourite cc stuff packs for The Sims 4 are all kitchen items because a gorgeous kitchen can change the vibe of any home.
The modern kitchen stuff pack that was created by Little Dica is a gorgeous example of great kitchen items that fit in nicely with the game. The pack is so versatile and works in most kitchens! The modern living stuff pack created by Illogical Sims is a great option for a smaller stuff pack to make a build feel much more modern.
There are 13 total items in this pack that are very simple but extremely effective and have neutral and more fun swatches. This stuff pack is entirely base game compatible which is awesome and my favourite object is definitely the egg chair because it just looks so comfy!
As a huge harry potter fan, I loved this concept. In The Sims 4 base game there is a poster that very much resembles Harry Potter called Henry Puffer and MLys took this and ran with it and created a whole set of beautiful magical stuff for the game. This pack includes gorgeous wallpaper, beds, desks, and so much magical clutter including your very own wand box for your sims.
This stuff pack includes 9 new clothing items and everything but a bath robe is base game compatible. There are over swatches for this clothing and it gives you so many options for kids. This includes beds, bookshelves, chairs, and decor objects that can create a seriously cute bedroom. A great thing in this pack is that the bed frames and blankets are separated, allowing you to choose one bed frame, and a totally different blanket if you want which allows for extreme customization.
The simkea furnishings stuff pack that was created by Illogical Sims adds over 40 new objects to the game that are inspired by the great furniture store IKEA and a minimalist style. This includes stuff for kitchens, bedrooms, living rooms, and bathrooms so you could decorate a whole houses using this pack.
My favourite part of this pack is the use of the counter system to create a modular couch system that can help you to create a gorgeous sectional couch. The serenity bathroom stuff pack was created by peacemaker and adds over 25 new bathroom oriented objects to the game. The objects in this pack can create a gorgeous bathroom with a deep bath tub and a glass wall shower that is customizable.
This pack includes things like a towel ladder, new plants, and of course bathroom objects like a sink, shower, and bath tub. The sleek kitchen stuff pack was created by Illogical Sims and features a ton of beautiful, modern kitchen items that will fit seamlessly into the game.
This stuff pack is fully base game compatible and includes a gorgeous built in stove that has a stove top for a more sleek and modern look than regular sims stoves. In total there are 20 objects that are so fun to place, including an edit to the base game modern counters to remove the back lip. There are new stools, counters, chairs, and a sink. The stellar stuff pack is a collaboration stuff pack by a group of simmers over at Plumbob Tea Society. This pack includes over space themed items that are out of this world including CAS items, new make up and some really fun build and buy assets.
This is a really fun option for simmers who want to hangout on Planet Sixam so you can make it feel like your sims are meant to be there, or if you are playing with aliens in The Sims 4. One department that is seriously lacking in The Sims 4 is create a sim objects that are good for teens only. All CAS items are made for sims teen to elder so it feels as though the teen life stage is completely ignored with having their own unique objects. The teen style stuff pack created by luumiasims and synth really solves this problem.
This includes things for different types of teens including the IT girl, the punk kid, and the athlete with each style category feeling entirely different and allowing you to create unique characters through their style. The tiny twavellers stuff pack was created as a collab between FelixandreSims and Harrie and features a ton of gorgeous objects to create toddler and kids rooms that are seriously unique.
