Logitech v20 speakers driver

For some reason in Windows Media Player, I can change the song and volume with the buttons on the speakers. However, the sound volume that I am changing is still coming from the crappy speakers in my laptop.

The device manager says that basically the software isnt installed right and the device wont work. This is supposed to be plug and play, no CD came with the product and Logitech has no drivers available for this that I know of. Any ideas? Do these speakers come with a driver disc?

As soon as you plug in the speakers the system sould see them. Does this happen? The computer recognizes them but fails to install the software properly.
